Doomed
Little did I know.
Fortunately, Regi had a sick sense of humor, so he totally enjoyed the movie and Earth was spared once more. Only this time without Weshley Crusher’s help. Who knows, if I had taken him to a nice family movie like “Over the Hedge”, we might all be floating debris right now.
By the way, if you’ve come here looking for pictures from Camp Koinonia’s 4th, 5th and 6th grade camp this year, don’t worry, you haven’t come to the wrong site. I just got a slew of great pictures in the mail so I will be posting those soon.
Speaking of camp…back in 2003, we had a counselor by the name of Pat McQuistan who was just awesome with the kids and helped to keep it a fun atmosphere. He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys this spring (his twin brother by the Oakland Raiders). A good friend of mine (the pastor where Pat and Paul’s family go to church) just sent me this picture of him yesterday and I had to share:

In the off-season he can always get work on TV as an Irish Klingon (Aaron, please don’t tell him I said that…). In the meantime, if I was on the field and on the opposite team, I’m pretty sure I’d run for my life.

Hey, if they are into poetry and rice cakes, they might be into Woody Allen movies!
Did you know that ‘Woody Allen’ can be rearranged to spell “Aw, do yell on!” or “O Lawn Yodel”. Your choice.

Good point about the rice cakes and poetry….I should have seen that one coming.
And I think I’d have to pick “O Lawn Yodel” as my favorite re-envisioning of his name. That is just way too funny!
Despite the fun I was having at his expense, I have to admit I kinda want to see the new Woody Allen with Hugh Jackman and Scarlett Johansson. I tried to watch “Annie Hall” once and I was just left baffled and confused as to why Sydney Pollack would consider it an “essential”. So, that’s what my Woody Allen world consists of cuz I never gave another one his movies a look after that. May have to give the new one a shot and see if it changes my mind.

aw, you just wanna see it because you hope Hugh Jackman will rip everything to shreds with his adamantium claws!

You know it! Hey, that really could make a Woody Allen movie good…

yep, I might even go to see that one!
