Oh yes, the power of duct tape.  Apparently its universal and unchallenged ability to restore any mechanical, physical or cosmetic defect is widely accepted and virtually worshipped by mankind.  I guess you learn something new every day.

Did you catch UPN’s airing of the made-over episode of the oritinal Star Trek this weekend?  Remastered and un-blooperfied as well as all computer-graphicsified.  They chose “Balance of Terror” to kick the whole shabang off.  I was a little confused by that choice, but I guess maybe it had more to do with all of the external ship and space shots involved in that particular episode.  It looked great, bright colors, sharp picture and significantly more believable special effects.  Still cheesy tho.  Which is good.  When I’m watching TOS, cheese is more than acceptable.  Good stuff, check it out this coming Sturday night.

I’m excited for the new TV show season coming up!!  Lost, Battlestar Galactica, and the new show Heroes.  Can’t wait, can’t wait.  Although the bad news is, apparently Lost is only giving us a handful of episodes until February when they will finish off the season with only new episodes week by week, sorta like 24.  So don’t get too excited if you’re as much of a fan of Lost as my house.  We’re only going to get teased a bit.  Of course, Lost (and 24 fans) are more than used to that!
