Brothers in Blue Arms
At last my big brother has arrived. At least he hasn’t successfully wow-ed Alan right off the bat like I was afraid he might. Now if I can just stay ahead of him and his charismatic ways.
So, did you manage to catch the season 3 premier of Battlestar Galactica last Friday night? Was that dark and distrubing or what?? It reminded me of the season 2 episode, “Flight of the Phoenix” in a way. In that episode, it was pointed out that all of the characters in the show were being forced to get used to a life constantly on the run from the Cylons. It was a bleak picture of each and every man and woman being overworked to the point of hopeless exhaustion. Then the chief found a creative outlet as a way of dealing with this situation. It seems that life has become even more hopeless than it was in that mid-season episode last year. They really did a great job of showing what mankind, as individuals and as a community, is capable of when incredible desparation becomes all we know. Accurate or inaccurate, I don’t know, but it sure seemed realistic to me. I think I’ll be glued again this year to the stories they have yet to tell.
Hey, if you get a second, check out music.aol.com for a “full CD listening party” of a brand new Sting album.
Happy Monday. If its possible. ![]()

As usual, I am so far behind! B and I are just now on disk 3 of season 1 (from Netflix) and are seriously enjoying the series! We just caught the episode last night where Apollo, I mean Zarek
tries to become VP. Good show!
