It seems Alan has been having difficulty at work yet again. Yay! 
I wanted to share something I came across in iTunes this weekend. Jeremy Camp has an EP available with one new song from his latest album and one song from his wife’s latest album. I didn’t know before I saw this EP who his wife is. I knew that his first wife died a few years ago of cancer when she was only 23 and he was 21. But her death had quite an effect on some of the songs on his first album. In fact, “I Still Believe” was written after she died, and listening to that song knowing this makes it all the more powerful. Well a few years ago it seems he married the vocalist from the South African CCM group, the Benjamin Gate. On this EP she goes by the name Adie. I highly recommend looking Jeremy Camp up on iTunes and springing the 1.98 for all 3 tracks of the EP. Besides the 2 singles from each, there is also a short interview with both. And the tracks are both very good.
When you stock up on Halloween candy, don’t forget to save some cash for the new Newsboys CD hitting the shelves on the 31st. I was pretty excited about it until I heard the first single on the radio. Something like Everywhere we go, that’s where the party is…. First impression is, come on guys, couldn’t you come up with something more spiritually relevant than that?? But they are one of my all time favorite Christian bands so I should stifle that first impression and continue to look forward to it, I think. Chances are there’s a point in there somewhere.
