OK, OK, I admit it. This one is just me being goofy. But hey, ya gotta have fun now and then, right??
24, a favorite TV show for my wife and I since we bought the first season and watched most of it on our anniversary a couple of years ago, is about to start up season 6. In fact this year on our anniversary, we stopped in at Best Buy to look at possibly replacing our busted DVD player, and saw that they were having a sale on 24 season box sets. So we added seasons 2 and 3 to our collection. Just a little warm-up as we approach the kick-off next weekend. When last season was wrapping up a few minutes early last year I instantly knew what the writers were planning for a cliff-hanger.  Not wanting to give anything away, I’ll just say I’m thrilled to see how they get Jack out of THIS mess.
What about Steve Dallas? Well, I always thought if ever a live-action Bloom County movie were to be made, Kiefer Sutherland would make a FANTASTIC Steve Dallas. Just picture him with a pair of dark sunglasses and the cigarette hanging out of the mouth. And if he can’t do it? Vince Vaughn would also be a great candidate. :D Confused? Well, the pitiful attempt in the 4th frame here was supposed to be my best shot at an 80’s Bloom County Steve Dallas.

Well honestly, I’m glad you admited to it! When I read the strip I thought “what the heck is he talking about? That ain’t Jack Bauer, its Steve Dallas!” (and a darn good likeness too I might add)
Btw, I got all of the “Pearls” books from my sister for Christmas. They are absolutely hilarious, especially with the “audio commentary” subtitles underneath the strips in “Sgt. Piggys Lonley Hearts Club Band.” I will bring them in for you to read, but if I forget please remind me!

LOL…this probably turned out more weird than anything… I guess I thought it would be funny…Nergon being confused and not knowing who it really was and kind of trying to point out that Kiefer Sutherland kinda looks like Steve Dallas.
Oh well, I’ll try to return to some form of normalcy now.

If fact, It’s pretty good. I noticed right away. And unless Nergon has done his reasearch, he would only know what’s pouplar now, which is 24. (and WoW) But in the hearts of true fans, We can see the Steve Dallas!
