5 of 24: Chloe - The Early Years
Thought I’d do another week of “24″ comics before I go back to the world of Nergon.
Chloe is one of my favorite characters on “24″. She’s arrogant, rude, and occasionally surprisingly compassionate. I don’t know what my deal is, but I tend to like the jerk-ish characters on the show the most. Tony Almeida was an early favorite, then Chloe, and now it’s Morris. The characters who have the best sarcastic one-liners get me laughing and eagerly anticipating the next offside quip. I love em. I guess maybe a part of me wants to be a real jerk to people? Maybe. But I think they’re cool. Plus, Chloe permanenly sealed her position as uber-cool queen geek of the show when she had her shining “fish-out-of-water” moment in the field in season 4. I literally cheered at the TV when that happened.
Anybody else got any favorite characters?

Thomas Lennox (maybe I like the guy playing him..good actor) but to be sneaky the way he is, I truly enjoy!
In past I liked I also enjoyed Tony Almeida. Who had no problem to be in Jacks face. A real Pair of Brass ones there, I’ll tell you what!

Thom Lennox is the new guy on the block that you love to hate. But as the season’s opening episodes unfolded, he turned out to be less of the bad guy I expected him to be. He’s not quite the shark Sherry Palmer was. But dang close.
Every time I see that guy, I think of Ghostbusters 2…so I have a hard time taking him seriously…

he’s a good actor. and after tonight, i like him alot more!
but what the heck kind of poor writting job was that tonight with Jack getting taken? jeeeez give me a freaking break. like he would really do what he did.

yea, thhat was just a bit off his normal path. Really did not like it.
He would have totally kicked all of their booties!

As I mentioned, I’m afraid I have never seen a single episode of 24 (I’m almost ashamed to post here
). Along the lines of jerk characters that get away with saying the things we wish we could say; I’d have to vote for Gregory House.

HOUSE! Yeah, totally. I must really be onto something here..
I really liked House when it was in its first season. His character is great! Same thing as the jerk 24 characters. Great dialog…

Doh! A turn of the channel and you would have missed a GREAT performance Tuesday night by none other than Dave Matthews!

Yeah I used to really like House. I just kinda got turned off by the 2nd season story when he and his x-wife got together after her then-current husband had become an invalid. That was a low point for me. But ya know, that’s part of character development in stories. Sometimes characters make some really bad decisions and the story is how they bounced back from that. I have no idea what the show is like now. Might have to see if I can catch that episode online somewheres.
