Greater Than 24

I am really starting to feel like a 24 fanboy.
This is gettin weird.
It’s like worse than most Star Trek geeks. “Remember in season 5 when blah blah blah blah and Jack went all blah blah blah”… I’m a little sad for myself.
But it’s all in the name of good fun.Â
I think after Friday, I’ll definitely cool my heels on the whole 24 thing for a little bit. I’m afraid I’m going to lose some people who are more normal than me on this whole thing. I’ll still do 24 strips on 24, but maybe it’ll be over the course of 3 or 4 months mixed in with some Nergon and some other stuff. Definitely not a series that will ever go anywhere since it’s all based on Fox characters… Just for fun…. Are we having fun yet?

So did ya like any of the ideas I gave ya the other day on WoW for some 1 panel cartoons? Feel free to draw them up and post em, just as long as I get some credit;)

Peri, your ideas are excellent! I laughed quite a bit over the ones you shared with me. But don’t worry, I won’t draw any of them up without letting you know and I certainly won’t distribute any of them without giving the proper credit. I think you’re quite the comic writer. I recently picked up the 2007 artists market book, so I was thinking we could do some panel comics together and submit them to some magazines that might be interested. I don’t know when I’ll have time, but this is something I have been wanting to do and your ideas are excellent. Maybe you could write a few out and email them to me? I have a horrible time remembering ideas. I had a cartoon idea at work the other day, didn’t write it down because I figured there was no chance I’d forget. By the end of the day it was long gone and I still can’t recall it….HATE THAT!

I have to admit, I’ve been enjoying doing them. That’s very cool about linking from your myspace page, thank you!!! I just don’t want to shift focus of my strip completely to 24 for a couple of months because then my strip loses its identity for a little while. I don’t mind doing off-the-wall stuff here and there, because I think that’s the kind of identity that would be fun for it.

You have a great gift, and in all truth, no matter what, people enjoy what you do here. I do miss nergon, and with his brother gone I’m excited to see where you plan him to go. (oh and Alan too)

After all this is said and done with 24, I would love to see Jack Bauer’s resume when he looks for other employment.
