Super Lame
Hopefully that doesn’t describe the toon too much…
Since i liked “300″ so much, I was really tempted to start a series of 300 strips about “300″…but you can only do so many strips showing someone getting body parts cut off in battle.Â
I figured since I’ve been picking on TV shows, I might as well continue the trend. This is one show that I’ve been having the DVR keep track of for me, but unfortunately, I’ve just recently started getting into it. So there’s a lot of backstory that I don’t know about… Well…except the whole Superman is from an alien planet thing and he’s living on a farm in a rural town. I get that. Plus all those Smallville DVD sets are among the most expensive of TV shows. But I like the show, it’s fun and it’s not too disorienting jumping into the middle.
Well…Happy Wednesday, all.

Ya! Gotta love Smallville, especially the part where he uses his laser vision to cut out the tracking device in that reporter chic’s shoulder. Poor Nergon, no super powers.

That’s $500 fine to Alan. He is littering in the third frame. Shame on him lol
Should start the 300 on 300 with three frames with Censor on them, then the last with someone saying …”Blows that idea.”

Yeah, Alan doesn’t live in Oregon apparently. And if he’s indoors, he’s not such a great roommate. Shame on him. Shame, shame. (finger wiggle, finger waggle)
I like your 300 idea. That’s funny stuff.
Yep, poor Nergon…and poor Chloe. That had to hurt… Chloe’s a meteor freak, Chloe’s a meteor freak…
I just realized it’s a good thing I didn’t have to draw my version of Lex Luthor for this Smallville strip. Cuz then it’d be the same guy that’s my terrorist on the 24 strips…
I’m kind of getting a Spy Vs. Spy vibe off my Jack Bauer vs. my terrorist thang. Kind of a funny side-effect of doing the strips. I’ll have to keep doing the same terrorist.
Course, that sort of brings 24 into a comic book style dynamic with the bad guys. They get caught, but they keep coming back. Kinda fun…

Yes a “Wag of the finger” to Alan. (unless he is tossing it on a tree huggin’ hippy” then nevermind.
But a “Tip of the Hat” to your new -Generic- Terrorist/bag guy being bald. Yes, you see it even in alien invasions, THEY ARE BALD!
Granted Lex has a more defined jaw line!
Nice Job.

Did ya’ll miss the three small smoking holes in Alan’s shirt? It seems Nergon has those heat vision powers after-all! He just need to stay out in the sun a little more I would guess.

Its the small things that make comics funny. Two holes would have been expected, but three holes enabled really good humor consistancy.
