Exercise in Humility
Boy am I glad I’m happily married. I’d hate to have a phone conversation like this one. And somehow I suspect that’s exactly what I’d get were I “on the market” as it were.Â
Whew! What a whirlwind weekend! He who posts here on the site as “Brian” has been up in these parts for the weekend. So we had to have a big party with BBQ “paradise burgers” (A Brian speciality) and hours upon hours of Nintendo Wii. Mostly Wii Sports. I dunno about everyone else, but I had an absolute blast and I can’t wait until we can arrange another shin-dig just like it.Â
On top of that it was my younger daughter’s 7th birthday Sunday! :’( They’re getting so big… Even after threatening them repeatedly to stop. Rotten, disobedient kids.
Well, Tab, I’m looking forward to you coming down so we can have another weekend just like it! Cuz then it’ll be MY birthday. Well, mine and Jillian’s. And Carol Burnett’s.
Happy Monday, all. PLEEEAAAASE may it be a happy Monday!!

You know I think I have actually gotten that line from a girl before. Or maybe it was the famous, “Its not you, its me.” line:)

Or it’s not you, it’s me and John Goodman.
