Packets in Intertubes
For most of 2005 I was losing my job. First it was supposed to be in March, then May, then July, then August, then the end of September. Many of my co-workers were laid-off and a couple of them were wise and bailed of their own accord. That was a pretty miserable way to go through the spring and summer. But the Lord blessed me above and beyond and I’m still working at the same company. Instead of going away in the end of September, I was brought back under my original manager when I first started working in software R&D, who has always been my favorite boss. So thanks to months of prayers by many friends and family members, I’m still able to put clothes on my kids and food on the table. Course, the threat seems to want to return now and then, so safety is nonexistant. But I believe that next time I’ll be OK, too. Even if I do lose my job.
But as an effect of going through all of that, several cartoons spirted out of me on the subject of outsourcing and job loss. Here is the beginning of it all.

Same here. I really enjoyed the whole set. Granted I never delt with these issues before.

That’s funny that you guys remember this one. That’s from back in the days when I didn’t have to have a web site because all of my comics were on the Full Tilt page. You guys are totally old-schoolers. Some day I should run a couple of the strips that were on Comics Sherpa. Those are the seriously old and crappy-looking Stranger Things strips!
And in answer to your question about the Flash thing, my WoW character is two bubbles from 69.
