What better kind could there possibly be?!

Again I am late today…and I apologize.  Been a crazy week with the holiday in the middle.  I’m scrambling to get ready to run the sunday school show 3rd service this Sunday and also be ready for camp by the 13th.  Friday the 13th.  Greeeaaat.  Good thing I’m not superstitious. 

I assume everyone has heard of Live Earth?  The global concert series this weekend aimed at raising environmental awareness.  I just found out today about it.  I’m always behind with these things.  If you’re interested in taking a gander, there’s a live video feed here that allows you to watch the various concerts.  The one I’m dying to see is Genesis.  I’m not sure if they’ve done any concerts yet since they regrouped, so I’m excited to see them back at it.  Not sure if I’ll be lucky enough to catch it tho, since if I’ve done my math right, they’ll be hitting the stage at about 6:30 am my time.  And I just ain’t aware at that time of my Saturdays.

Update -

If you’re trying to watch the live video feed from MSN but like me are only getting a black video screen with great audio, then might I suggest killing that ever helpful IE and using Firefox instead.  The MSN video feed is not working at all on my computer and there is absolutely no tech info on the page letting you know what codec or plugin is needed to view the feed.  Which only serves to remind me how much trouble I’ve been having with IE since “upgrading” to IE 7.  By FAR (and I mean FAAAAARRR) IE 7 is THE WORST browsing experience I’ve ever had.  Hate it.  Crashes, freezes frequently for no apparent reason.  Great job, MS.

If you use Firefox to view the feed, it will use Quicktime (which actually works) as opposed to the non-functioning MSN Video with IE7.
