A CAT5 Hangin
String ‘im up!!
Our first full day of camp. I’ve got the bonfire talk tonigh. This is the part of camp that really stresses me out. A preacher I ain’t, ladies and gentlemen, but I do what I can. Hopefully 120 4th, 5th, and 6th graders don’t fall asleep on their benches.Â
By now we’ve also had our first night swim. We like to get em all tuckered out right off the bat. So this means a lot of chlorine got swallowed last night which in turn means some kids probably threw up and some got a little homesick. Cuz that always happens, too. This is the youngest age group for church camp, so for many of the kids, it’s their first time away from Mom and Dad for a whole week. Have mercy.
Well hope your week is treating you well. I’ll be swimming in a nice cool pool, stressing out about my mini-sermon tonight.Â
But that’s the way it goes for me.Â

You should be old hat at this by now! And besides, if you just dazzle ‘em with your highly entertaining, in-depth knowledge of comics, you’ll put ‘em to sleep in no time.
Oh wait, I thought that’s what you were going for …

you’ll do fine. Andrew was looking foward to getting away from me for a whole week. But not being away from Wow for a week. That part is most likly eating him alive. hehe. WoW withdrawls.
Sorry to hear you were felling under the weather when I got there. (likly you didn’t want to see me, or be seen talking to such a outcast like me. But hey, I’m use to it) lol

Yes, yes they did get sick and throw up…and who has to clean it up??? ME! It’s always me! Never fails, for the past 11 years, I always get the spewing girls. I don’t know why God has chosen to bless me with these hurling little darlings, but I know that I can handle about anything now….even revisited pickles!
