I really had this strip pictured looking much better in my head.  I tried to do Mr. Coleman several times.  Still wasn’t happy with the final version, but I had to call it good at some point….  Oh well, hopefully the idea gets across in spite of my limitations.  If you were born after 1980, this strip probably won’t make much sense to you…  In which case I can only assure you, you’re better off.

I finally got my “Art of Bone” hardcover this week.  Been eating that thing up.  That Jeff Smith character really created something special in Bone.  This hardcover showcases his artwork and also features some reproduced originals with blue pencil sketching still present under the ink.  It shows storyboards, nature photos used for reference, as well as blown up art straight out of the Bone comic books.  Complete eye candy with  a touch of behind the scenes info.  Very very cool.
