Spork? Everyone knows it’s actually a runcible spoon! (http://www.nonsenselit.org/Lear/ns/pussy.html) Actually we find it funny the people that think the runcible spoon is a real thing. Kind of like the vorpal sword (perhaps we could fall on one of those?) from another of my favorite nonsense poems: http://www.jabberwocky.com/carroll/jabber/jabberwocky.html
I had never read that poem before. That’s very creative, I like the creation of a nonsense word. Especially when it looks convincing enough. The wikipedia entry for a runcible spoon shows that there are a few stores with that name in various places. Pretty cool. I’ll have to start asking Carissa if she can pass me the runcible spoon.

How can you not know that poem? I had it memorized at one point…it’s just so cool! I now have a fear of sporks since I saw Lord of the Beans….creepy.

Well that’s why I put the Mondays quote there. But I didn’t have him say “That would be greeaaat”
