Tomb Raider Anniversary Wii Video

August 17th, 2007

This looks pretty impressive.  When I first heard about the Wii, my hope was that it would be the best interface so far for playing my favorite style of game, the first person shooter.  So far it hasn’t turned out that way, although the interface for the Wii version of Resident Evil 4 was extremely well designed.  And ever since it was announced, Metriod Prime 3 has been promised to shock and awe the FPS crowd into a new “better than mouse and keyboard” utopia.  We’ll see.  I just hope that some of these newer games do actually deliver the goods in terms of interface.  That way we can really get those anti-video game politicians good and freaked out.

Looks fun to me…hope it actually turns out to be. My daughter will probably be bugging me to pick it up. :) Every time we go to Target and stop in the computer game aisle, she has to play the Tomb Raider Legends demo. Personally I’ve never been able to play the Tomb Raider games. The PC controls are designed for people with far more talent or fingers or something than I have at my disposal cuz I just can’t get them to work well.
