Just saw on Jeff Smith’s RSS feed that cartoonist Kazu Kibuishi has revealed this cover to a new book titled “Amulet: The Stonekeeper.”  Apparently Jeff Smith wrote “a back cover blurb” for it.  Amazon has it available for pre-order with a release date of January 1, 2008. 

I don’t know anything about this book, but this cover is very impressive and I’ve seen his comic strip “Copper” before.  EXCELLENT work.  Kazu’s page is here and you can also view some “how to” pages to see how he works his magic from pencil to web.

I may have to pick up a copy of “Amulet” book 1 when it’s available and do a review…
