Ten Mile Christian Church Groundbreaking

September 24th, 2007

Yesterday evening the church that my family is a part of, Cherry Lane Christian Church, held a groundbreaking ceremony for our new building at Ten Mile and Franklin, which is planned to be open for services by Thanksgiving 2008.  This has been in the works for several years now with much support from highly skilled church and community members.  Even the mayor of Meridian is here holding a shovel.  :)  It was a very exciting ceremony held at the approximate location of our future communion table.  Here’s hoping and praying that the transition goes as smoothly and successfully as possible.
