Think Again, Pagans!
December 18th, 2007Just looked at an email newsletter from Turner Classic Movies that I got yesterday and had to laugh at this little excerpt:
Stories of Jesus - 12/25 - And you thought Christmas was about Santa Claus? Think again you pagans! We’re here to remind you it’s a religious holiday too with our triple feature that includes Jeffrey Hunter in King of Kings (1961).
Didn’t think I’d ever be called a pagan by a cable channel… :D
In case you’re interested, the other 2 flicks they’re showing Christmas Day are “The Greatest Story Ever Told” and “Ben-Hur.” But really, I just got a kick out of that pagan comment…

Yea, from the same people who show commericals of adult products during prime time so your 4 year old can turn and ask you about it. Or the same people who keep pushing the time back where they can show “not so family friendly” movies.
Great, and they call their viewers the Pagans.
