The Weights And Measures War

Some of us have been waiting on a common standard for this one for a loooong time.  Of course, carrying the analogy further, I woud have to say that the United States = Toshiba in this case.  It’s just that we don’t surrender quite so gracefully.

We are only trading one dictator for another for now. His brother is taking over, I don’t see much change coming yet.

fight for your right, to measure by the inch!

Awww but his brothers direction is one of open trade. He has already done much with Europe in open trade. He has been working on getting people to come back to Cuba and build the nation strong in tourism. You can bet your sweet puppies that he’ll open up for American trade. On top of that, I’m sure Mr. bush would like to go out on some kind of high note.

What good is a foot long hotdog if we don’t measure by the foot? I’m sorry but a decimeter hotdog doesn’t sound as cool.
