Just saw this posted on Jeff Smith’s website.  VERY exciting news for Bone fans.  Let’s just hope they get on making a movie quickly instead of just shelving the rights, leaving fans in a rabid state of anticipation for years.

For the uninitiated, Bone is a highly respected comic book series for all ages which has been available in a very large single-volume black and white edition, and is also in the process of being released in a nine-volume, colored trade paperback series (color added by Steve Hamaker).   I’m in the middle of collecting this series myself and thoroughly enjoying the artwork and story.

If you haven’t read a single frame of Bone, you owe it to yourself to fall in love with the characters and story before it hits the big screen.  :)
