Kevin Max and Kerry Livgren at the Movies?
May 8th, 2008
I dunno, guys. I just don’t know. It looks like another embarrassingly underproduced Christian movie that probably has a great message which will probably be lost between mental snickers. Which is unfortunate because Kevin Max and Kerry Livgren are in it… I mean, dang.
Any thoughts?

Ouch. Just watching the preview clip made me think ‘if these are the highlights then this movie is in big trouble.’ You have to wonder if it’s bad acting, bad directing or a combination. Interestingly, my hero Livgren came across very naturally. I don’t think I’d go to see it solely on his account though.
Now Iron Man on the other hand, WOOHOO!!! I wanna go see it again and again!

I completely agree with everything you said….wrote….typed..
Iron Man was awesome and I’m jealous that my wife got to see it twice…
I was not very excited for it because I don’t like Iron Man very much in the comics. And the reason for that is that I’ve only really been exposed to Iron Man in the last 2 years and that’s been in the midst of Marvel’s Superhuman Registration Act drama in which Tony Stark is a complete jerk. But I figured..what the heck..first of the summer blockbusters this year, may as well give it a shot. Man that movie is awesome. Marvel can do great things when they’re in control of their properties at the movies. So far.

You notice how Kevin Max is a good inch shorter than the leading lady. I like how they film things so he seems tall, but then they get a shot in every so often where you can see how small he really is.

I’m more than willing to give it a shot. I won’t say that I am overly impressed with the production presented in the trailer, but, I think that the apparent storyline has the potential to make this a unique and worthwhile flick.
