It amazes me, the movies that get picked for a hi-def treatment.  Tonight on the Universal HD channel they were showing “Porky’s.”  Seriously.  In hi-def.  I find myself looking at sales on Blu-Ray movies on Amazon and not really finding much that I’m interested in.  Of course some of that has to do with already owning many of my favorite movies on DVD and not being willing to replace those with Blu-Ray discs.  Oh sure, there will be some.  I will buy LoTR in extended versions on Blu-Ray.  I will buy Star Wars on Blu-Ray.  And Indiana Jones.  But for the most part…  I guess it’s just a matter of waiting for the good ones.  And then waiting for the good ones to go on sale.
