And the Good News is, of course, He does.
Life is doing one of those crazy purges right now where you just hang on for dear life and pray that you have a place to plant your feet when it’s all over. When you find yourself losing a job and a place to live at the same time, you tend to wonder if you should have made different choices. But I know it will all work out in the end. I have faith.

Our landlords are putting the house up for sale, which we knew they would do, no big surprise there. It just comes along at the same time that my job is ending, so it seems painful. My team no longer exists. And so with that development, I’m out a job unless another team picks me up. I don’t know any solid information really, but from what I hear I have until the end of October. So that’s where I’m at.

Can I vote that God is telling you to STAY HERE and that he’s got an even better job and home for your family waiting in the wings?
His timing is never what I like … but His plans are always better.

Oohhh pressure from both sides! Anyways, I do agree that God’s plans are always better. Ian’s been laid off a couple times, and God always provides…even if it’s just our “daily bread.” Actually the time I’m thinking of it was daily vegetables!

Wait, when God says Oregon….will he mean the Albany area? or closer to Portland..maybe Wilsonville?

Well thanks everybody for making me feel so wanted…
I dunno what’s in store, could be nothing much changes at all if I get picked up by another team. Could be something major is coming. But I know God’s got something planned. I saw my job going away and I saw my family needing to move out of the house by the end of the year and I thought aha….I think I might be seeing the Good Lord putting some pieces in place for a strategic move.
