Feeding the Good Dog
January 25th, 2010I heard this story one night at campfire at a church camp years ago. It was either a middle or high school camp. And it’s been good food for thought ever since. Some of you have heard or read it many times so you don’t even need to follow the link to know what it refers to.
Another good quote for us cartoonists is one from our spiritual Godfather, Mr. Charles M. Schulz, who said “I just draw what I think is funny, and I hope other people think it is funny, too.” By extension I feel that I have to write the web page I like and hope others like it. If not, I hope you’ll enjoy what you can and tolerate the rest.
I’ve noticed recently that a lot of the podcasts I listen to are centered around gaming and technology. Those things are great, but they’re not what I want to be all about. So in an effort to Feed the Good Dog, I’ve made some additions and thought I’d share them now and then in case others might enjoy them, too. The below sermon is one of the most recent that spoke to me. So I post it here in hopes that it might speak to you, too.
