Chris pitched this to me last week and I had a lot of fun doing my part and putting it with his frame. Kelly Aarons does a fantastic strip called “World of Warcraft, Eh?” (www.woweh.com) which is where Cadistra and Kissless come from who both appear in that middle frame with Morton Moose. Thanks, Chris! This was a lot of fun! Great idea.

I haven’t really explained what I’m doing here lately with Mr. Hartman, so let me go ahead and do that.

Quite awhile back I posted an idea about comic strips appearing in seasons sort of like TV shows. That way the creator could try their hand at writing for different themes and ideas. This is what I’m doing with Mr. Hartman and my 2009 “Empty Vessels” strip right now. Earlier this year I planned on starting a 3-month run of new “Empty Vessels” strips beginning about the time school started. So we’re a couple of weeks into it now and it will continue to run for about 3 months before I move on to something else. And after awhile I’ll probably do a Season 3 of it and so on. Unless people hate it. Season 1 would be the Amazon.com Comic Strip competition submission I did last year and then subsequently ran on this site at the end of the year. So if you’re interested, check in the archives for those.
